Sometimes you luck out with light. Sometimes you luck out with couples. Sometimes you get both and you’re pinching yourself. Mary and Riley are a sweet couple, and they happen to be really good looking! Wedding season is picking up, and with couples like this, we couldn’t be more excited!

Anna and John : Seattle Engagement
We have the best clients. We really do. Anna and John are sweet and sincere; fun and funny. But more than anything, Anna and John are in love. We recently spent some time together on a sunny Seattle evening, warding off raccoons, learning about spitbugs and skipping stones into the Sound. We can’t wait for their September wedding at the Georgetown Ballroom. It’s going to be the party of the decade.

Salt Lake City
While we were in Utah, we had the opportunity to photograph this adorable couple. I love photographing in different climates. We get so used to the beautiful big trees here in Washington. Sometimes it’s so refreshing to find an open field that goes on and on for hundreds of miles. What a breath of fresh air. The sky always seems bigger to me in Utah. And I love it.

Jeff and Vanessa : Tacoma
Jeff and Vanessa have known each other since middle school. These two completely balance each other out and it’s so obvious why they’re in love! They’re awesome. Period. The best thing is, when I met Vanessa, she said; “Oh Jeff has a beard like Travis! They’re gonna get along great!” Enough said. We’re so excited for their wedding in a few weeks!

Travis and Will grew up together, and we were naturally curious and excited when Will started to date Lynette. Will is such a great guy, and he found his perfect match in Lynette. Much like our early days, their relationship has been long distance and they are finally close together and preparing for their wedding. We are so excited for this couple, especially considering the deep love they share.

Sterling and Kalina : Salt Lake City
I recently made my way to the Salt Lake Valley for this special engagement session. Sterling is my elder cousin by 8 days. When I found out he was engaged I was thrilled! We had so much fun together, and I just adore Kalina! I am looking forward to her joining the family. She can definitely hold her own! We’re a sassy group of gals, and she fits right in.
