Our glorious friends, Roger and Lyndzee, came up from California to celebrate their ninth anniversary. They loved the trees and the fall colors but weren’t so crazy about the cold. We had a great time laughing and picture-taking with these two!

Brandon and Sadie : Tacoma
Brandon and Sadie are one of our couples that got married in 2010. We love these guys and were excited when they came up from Utah to visit the Puget Sound area and check out the UW campus. We showed them around the area and took advantage of a few minutes to take a couple of portraits. Brandon and Sadie love outdoor adventures and both drive Subarus. These guys belong in the PNW.

Adrian and Melissa : Seattle
Adrian and Melissa’s wedding in 2009 was one of the first we photographed. We love this couple and were happy to get to photograph them again a few weeks back. Adrian is currently studying in New York, so we had to get together with them for a few brief hours while he was in town.

Seth and Maddy : Seattle
We’ve known Seth and Maddy for several years now. Travis went to college with them in Idaho, and we were excited when they recently moved to Seattle! Maddy is a talented studio photographer, and Seth is a skilled graphic designer. We recently spent a rainy day in Seattle photographing each other. We traveled around Ballard and Discovery Park, enjoying the rain and autumn colors. They bought us some delicious macaroons that changed our lives!

Roger and Lyndzee : Nevada Desert
We recently met up with our superfriends, Roger and Lyndzee Ellsworth, for a quick Vegas vacation. We have so much love and respect for the Ellsworths. They are talented photographers, fantastic parents and wonderful people. And they crack us up like no other. Roger even achieved the full-on Travis laugh by asking a simple question as we sat in a Cheesecake Factory for a Saturday night dinner. It was a riot. They have almost convinced us to leave Washington for the warmth of southern California. Almost.

The Hansens : Tacoma
Our friends, Chad and Rebecca Hansen, were recently in town from Idaho to visit family for Thanksgiving. The Hansens are a talented husband and wife photography team, so, of course, when we made plans to get together, we had to take portraits of each other! With the daylight quickly fading, we only had a few minutes to make some frames. They are such a sweet couple, and we loved spending time with them!

Matt and Hillary : Seattle
With the summer running out, it’s time for lots of friends to go back to school. Among those friends are Matt and Hillary, who were recently married and will be returning to BYU. We spent a few hours with them recently and shot a handful of portraits of them. Matt and Travis have been friends for several years. Matt even played drums in Idaho with Travis’ old band, The Belafonte. The evidence is here! It was a blast to spend time with such a wonderful couple. I don’t know another couple that is more perfect for each other.
They are so perfect for each other that they even have matching wrist freckles.
